Diablo FC Annual General Meeting, Board Elections Jan. 26


Jan. 22, 2009 

Diablo Futbol Club`s Annual General Meeting, including the Board of Directors election, will be Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, 7:30 p.m. at the Contra Costa Water District, 1331 Concord Ave., Concord.

The following Board members are seeking re-election (terms of office are staggered per bylaws establishing Diablo FC and the 2008 Board of Directors):

Paul Kitchell -Vice President, Field Scheduling & Tryouts (term is for 2009-2010 calendar years)

Rick Fox -Treasurer & Crab Feed (term is for 2009 calendar year)

Heather Shaw -Secretary (term is for 2009-2010 calendar years)

Jay Bedecarre - Publicity, Website & Marketing (term is for 2009 calendar year)

Alex Delgado - Assistant Referee Administrator (term is for 2009-2010 calendar years)

Gene Dolan -Field Equipment & Golf Tournament (term is for 2009 calendar year)

Tom Romolino - Referee Administrator (term is for 2009-2010 calendar years)

Cheryl Yasutake - Tournament Director & Super Y-League (term is for 2009-2010 calendar years)

Per club bylaws, EACH TEAM and each Board Member has one vote at the AGM. All Diablo FC parents and coaches are invited to attend the AGM. The evening’s agenda includes Board and Officer’s report on the 2008 season, discussion of club plans for 2009 and the election of Board of Directors.

THERE IS NO PROXY VOTING. Only members of record (each team and Board member) in good standing will be eligible to vote. The President only votes in the event of a tie.
