Sean Hart of champion Diablo FC
94 was named Most Valuable
Player of the U13 boys
division at the 10th annual Super
Y-League North American Championships
last month. He was one of three Diablo
FC 94 players earning all-tournament honors
in Florida.
Joining Hart on the All-Tournament boys team is
Diablo FC teammate Eli Padilla. The third Diablo
FC All-Tournament selection in the U13 age group
is Ashly Dickinson of the U13 girls team which
barely missed out on a berth in the semi-finals.
Selections were based on the nominations of
opposing coaches made throughout tournament
play.

Soccer Leagues announced today the
All-Tournament teams for the U13 Girls and Boys,
who took part in the 10th annual Super Y-League
North American Finals held Friday, November 21
through Tuesday, November 25.
Selections were based off the nominations of
opposing coaches made throughout tournament
play. Selections per position were altered
slightly to include the players receiving the
most nominations.
Goalkeeper Taylor Francis of the CASL RailHawks
was the first player named to the All-Tournament
list as the Most Valuable Player for the U13
Girls Super Y-League North American Finals
Champions. Following Francis, Joanna Boyles, a
midfielder for CASL, was nominated in all five
matches CASL played.
The Washington Freedom’s Maria Sweatman and
North Cal Lamorinda’s Claire Winter were
nominated by each of the four opposing coaches
they faced. A third CASL player, Bria Dixon
received three votes during the tournament.
The MVP of the Boys’ U13 tournament was defender
Sean Hart of Diablo FC. He is joined on the
Super Y-League All-Tournament Team with teammate
Eli Padilla, who received three votes from
opposing coaches. The top vote-getters at the
U13 North American Finals were PDA’s Aaron
Freeman, Quickstrike’s Mitchell Taintor, Rage
SC’s Robert Smith and H.C. United’s Demetri
Zervos.
