The 1st Diablo FC Benefit Golf Tournament was a wonderful success. Chairman Gene Dolan reports that the overflow field of 156 golfers played a best ball format at Diablo Creek Golf Course in Concord. Following the day's golf nearly 100 Diablo FC club members---parents and players---joined the golfers for socializing and a BBQ dinner in the picnic area.

Awards were presented to a number of golfers and foursomes before a silent auction and raffle completed the festivities.

Supporting Sponsors who helped make the event one of the two major annual club fund raisers included Garaventa Enterprises, Dolan Lumber, Straight Line Imports, B Metal Fabrication and Todd & Jodie Swartz.
