The former club goalkeeper is a strong candidate for MLS Rookie of the Year with Toronto FC after a stalwart career at Cal Berkeley.

Both for our club and Cal, Stefan was coached by Henry Foulk

Stefan Frei Cal
Diablo FC goalkeeper training is being held EVERY TUESDAY this summer at  John Baldwin Park  in Concord.

U9 thru U13
boys and girls train from 4:00-5:30 p.m.

U14 thru U19 boys and girls train from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

At times, training may extend a little past the scheduled end time, however players are expected to be at training and ready to go at 4:00 for youngers and 5:30 for olders.

Henry Foulk and the Diablo FC coaching directors want all goalkeepers to attend this training, even if it conflicts with team training on Tuesday.

This program is an important part of the Diablo FC training experience. Among club alumni, Stefan Frei from Cal was recently the #1 draft pick among goalies in Major League Soccer and has established himself as a leading rookie of the year candidate with Toronto FC. We have club alumni keepers currently playing Division 1 soccer at University of Arizona and Cal Berkeley in the Pac 10, St. Mary’s College, Brown University in the Ivy League and Creighton.
