9th annual Winter Soccer Academy underway
Ages 5-12 learn soccer skills from the pros

Learn the Diablo FC way. Soccer is the world’s game and we’ll show your child how much fun it can be. Professional coaches from the renowned Diablo FC Soccer Academy will teach basic dribbling and juggling skills, passing and receiving the ball and ball striking. The emphasis is on individual player development in a fast-paced, friendly environment without the pressure of game performance.

Players interested in trying out for 2010 competitive teams receive great training in preparation for tryouts. Any player joining a Diablo FC team in 2010 will receive a $45 credit on player registration fee. Each Academy player receives a Diablo FC Soccer Academy t-shirt and a Diablo FC pin and window sticker.

Diablo FC Winter Soccer Academy is presented on Mondays and Thursdays through Feb. 18 from 5-6 p.m. at Willow Pass Park Field 5  in Concord.

Because of the unsettled weather conditions we recommend you check our weatherline on the day of Soccer Academy before going to a session. Call (925) 779-2102. Listen to the message to see if you should check back later in the day as sometimes the city of Concord will open fields based on an afternoon check of field condition.
